It's always very exciting for us when we have to get on a plane to go and do some wedding photography. Even more exciting when it's a beautiful couple like Stevie and Elaine. Triple the excitement when they have such an amazing wedding venue as Trim Castle Hotel.
The morning preparations were very stereotypical (in a good way). The girls had their hair and makeup professionally done, and made sure every detail was perfect. The bridesmaids helped Elaine with her dress and they all shared some champagne.
Meanwhile the boys quickly got dressed, admired the hotrod waiting outside to bring Stevie to church, did a few burnouts and knocked back a whiskey or two. I'd a hoot round there. Speaking of Hoot, check out the picture of Stevie with his owl below.
After the lovely service in Johnstown, Navan, we headed off to Trim for the wedding reception. The Trim Castle Hotel is a fantastic venue, we'd love to shoot some more weddings there. Trim castle itself is just across the road. Thankfully, the rain held off long enough for us to be able to visit the castle and river to get some bridal party shots.
Later it started lashing down, but by this stage everyone was in full on party mode and having a blast on the dance floor.
Enjoy the photos.
