It was an absolute delight to be shooting our 2nd destination wedding this summer at the stunning venue Domaine de vieux Mareuil. Set in the sunny french countryside, the location was spectacular. A beautiful stone chateaux resting in rolling hills resembled scenes from a Disney film and I could immediately see why our gorgeous bride and groom had fallen in love with this place.
Blazing sunshine, beautiful scenery, family, friends and fun summed up this amazing wedding in France. Photographing destination weddings is always an exciting task and we hope that Sharon and Simon will continue to enjoy our photographs for many years to come. Here's a few of our favourite shots in our usual quirky, documentary style, please enjoy and feel free to comment or share...

The wedding planner Sarah and her team of wedding suppliers couldn't do enough to make the day perfect and were buzzing around behind the scenes all weekend to get things in place. On the morning of the wedding they had transformed the stone terrace into a magical, fairytale aisle within a few hours.
It's not often you see a bride wearing a bridal gown that she has designed herself but bride Sharon stole the show with a wedding dress she had lovingly designed and made through her own bridal wear boutique, Sharon Pricilla while the pastel pink and blue pops of colour on the groom, the page boys and the flowers suited the style of the wedding perfectly and the abundance of straw hats and parasols reflected the couple's playful nature.
