But before we got to Sulgrave Manor, there was the wedding ceremony. This was at St Peter & St Pauls Church in Deddington. It's a lovely, bright and airy church and the vicar is so nice and welcoming.
It was a perfect summers wedding day. Drinks on the lawn, canapes, an acoustic guitarist gently playing some modern tunes in the background, family and friends excitedly catching up with each other, kids playing with garden toys.
The wedding breakfast had a lovely twist, each table had joint of beef that was carved by one of the guests. The catering, by Limes Farm, was exquisite as always. So after the meal it was into the very entertaining speeches. The day was then perfectly finished off by a couple of live sets from ska band Hope & Glory who had the dance floor full all night.
