Live & Stu’s Oxford wedding was just amazing. We love wedding photography. We love making taking the images ourselves, editing the images, looking at other photographers work, having others look at our work. But our love of wedding photography is always turned up a notch when we get to shoot a wedding like Liv & Stu’s.
The ceremony took place at St Aldate’s Church in the centre of Oxford, followed by tea and cakes in the foyer. This was a great opportunity for us for some relaxed reportage photography as everyone chatted away to each other and met each others families.
After tea and cakes at the church we all went off to Christ Church Meadows, just down the road. It was a wonderful sight as the whole wedding party wandered up the road, then through the park to the river. The river Thames was a great backdrop for some family photos, and some more candid shots as guests chatted away with each other and enjoyed the beautiful summers day. After the group shots we got a few beautiful portraits of Liv and Stu having a stroll along the river bank. What a dreamy, romantic setting.
Later on the reception was held at Oxford Town hall, just across the road from St Aldates. I’ve done some event photography at The Town Hall before, and thought then how great it would be too shoot a wedding here. Kevin, the DJ, did an amazing job of lighting the function room, it really did look amazing.
All in all, we had the most fantastic day. Thank you Live & Stu for asking us to shoot your Oxford wedding.
